Who looks after your data

Our brand is owned by Somerai Technology Limited and operated by White Hat Gaming Limited. The two companies are joint data controllers of your personal data. White Hat Gaming handles data for the gambling service itself, and Somerai Technology handles data for marketing that service.

Why we collect personal data

We mainly collect personal data for two reasons: to provide our service to you and to meet our legal and regulatory duties. Opening an account means telling us who you are and where you live, including when you were born, so that we can confirm your identity and check that you are old enough to play.

The data we hold

Depending on how you use our service, this can include identity and contact data, records of your messages to Customer Support, payment and transaction data, technical data such as your IP address and browser, and your marketing preferences. Calls with us may be recorded for training, quality and quicker answers.

How we use it

We use your data to run your account, process payments, verify your age and identity, prevent fraud and money laundering, and apply the deposit, spending and loss limits you set. We also use it to monitor play so that we can offer help to anyone who may be at risk of gambling harm, and to give effect to self-exclusion, including through GamStop.

Marketing

We send marketing only if you have agreed to receive it. You can unsubscribe at any time using the link in a message or by contacting us. We may still send service messages about your account.

Security

We use security measures to protect your data against unauthorised access and loss. Pages that carry your personal details are encrypted. Please do not send sensitive details such as card numbers by email.

How long we keep it

Your data stays with us while your account is in use. Once you stop using it, we keep it for up to five years at most, longer only where the law says we must.

Your rights

You can ask for a copy of your data, ask us to correct or delete it, object to some uses of it, restrict how we use it, and withdraw your consent where we rely on it. You can also challenge an automated decision and ask for a person to look at it. Requests are free unless they are clearly unfounded or excessive, and we aim to reply within one month.

Concerns and complaints

If you have a question about your data, contact our Data Protection Officer through Customer Support. If you feel we have not handled a concern properly, you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office in the UK.
